Rural fintech startup Spice Money partners with Sonu Sood for COVREG
Rural fintech startup Spice Money launched a volunteer program COVREG for vaccine registration in rural India.
The volunteers need to register on COVREG website, post-registration they will be provided with a mobile application which will be used for vaccine registration of 95 crore Indians staying in rural India.
The platform will be based on COWIN closed vaccine registration API, earlier PayTM also enabled its user base to register for vaccines via its APP using the same API.
Spice Money is a Noida based rural startup which provides agent based digital services in rural India.
The agents in the Spice Money language are called Spice Money Adhikaris.
Spice Money has partnered with Amazon Easy, Care Health Insurance, Indigo... and many financial banks and NBFCs.
It provides services around Payments, Banking, Travel, Loans, and Shopping domains via its agent program.
Spice Money is founded by Saket Agarwal and Dilip Modi, Saket is a BITS Pilani alumnus and ex-global CEO of Spice Digital. While Dilip is an Imperial College of London passout.
Currently, Sanjeev Kumar, an IIT BHU alumnus, and Ex JIO & Yes Bank employee heads the operations at Spice Money as CEO
Spice Money also has Bollywood actor Sonu Sood on its advisory board and as their Brand Ambassador.
Spice Money competes with rural agency based fintech Bankit in India.
