Junio raised ₹5 Crore via Seed Funding Round
Children focused digital pocket money fintech startup Junio ₹5 crore in additional seed funding from Venture Catalyst and family offices led by the Rajiv Dadlani Group, as it looks to further develop its product.
This round is a follow up round to previous seed funding of $1 Mn which saw participation of Cred founder Kunal Shah, Bharatpe founder Ashneer Grover.
Junio was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in Delhi, It started its journey by raising funds as seed investment from top tier angel investors.
Junio's App has rating of 4.4 and 50k+ downloads on playstore.
Junio is founded by Shankar Nath and Ankit Gera both of them worked together at Paytm as CMO and Head of Growth respectively. Shankar Nath has rich experience in the finance sector, Passing out of IIM Ahmedabad he has worked in Citi, Aviva, and Icici Lombard.
Ankit also has an amazing pedigree, passing out of IIT Kanpur, He joined Google Australia and worked there in the Youtube division.
Junio will compete with Fampay and Walrus in children focussed banking and payment space.
