2 Indian Fintech Startups selected for Accenture Fintech Mentorship Program
Bengaluru based Fedo and Mumbai based Saas startup Knight fintech will represent India in Accenture's fintech mentorship program.
Fedo is an algorithmic fintech which focusses on algo based claim propensity generation for health insurance companies based on the photograph as input, Fedo makes risk assessment and underwriting easy with its algorithm.
Fedo is the brainchild of Arun Mallavarapu and Prashanth Madavana, Both of them did their management education from prestigious foreign universities, UCLA and UONB respectively.
India's second representation is Mumbai based Knight fintech which is an AI-powered credit risk assessment platform.
Knight fintech is founded by serial fintech entrepreneur Kushal Rastogi who is an IIT Roorkee alumni, he also holds a coveted CAIA charter.
The other selected startups include Fano Labs (Hong Kong), KADA (Australia), Flybits (Canada), SPIN Analytics (United Kingdom), Capitalise.ai (Israel), and three other Singapore-based startups — UVAS, Symbo, and Staple.
The 2020 mentorship program received applications from 162 companies in more than 30 countries, with solutions related to the five themes for the 2020 program: data and analytics; digital bank solutions; emerging technologies; health insurance ecosystem; and intelligent automation.
